A Thousand Masks

Wearing a thousand masks;

To hide what’s within,

To keep it to myself

To let no one distinguish anything.

Masks that complicate things;

Smiling and laughing,

While inside i’m hurt and crying

And now everything feels vague.

To see myself in the mirror ;

Another peculiar person

Is a different character with the similar face as mine

And to see that difference is the thing that hurts me more.
